Meet Our Leaders

Charlene Friedman is doing her best to make up for lost time. God called her into His pastoral service forty years ago, when she was a child on the shores of Trinidad and Tobago, but she lost her way in as a young adult. 

Thank God we serve a god of second chances! On a winter night in 2011 Charlene’s car hit a patch of black ice and flew off the Garden State Parkway and into a tree. After surgery, she was bedridden for months, recovering from her injuries, Charlene heard the call of God to return to Christ and his service. This time she obeyed.

Charlene has since completed her Bachelor of Arts in psychology and Christian Counseling, a Masters of Apologetics, a Master of Divinity, a Master of Pastoral Counseling, and a Doctor of Ministry degree. 

Charlene is also a board-certified pastoral counselor with the AACC, and a trained chaplain.
